Compliment/Complaint Procedures

     Any Compliments concerning Luzerne County 9-1-1 personnel can be sent directly to the Luzerne County 9-1-1 facility. 

       Please mark all correspondence to the attention of the 9-1-1 Director.

      Luzerne County 9-1-1 will thoroughly evaluate all reports of employee misconduct.  Anyone who files a complaint will be treated with fairness and respect.

·      Complaints can be filed in writing at the Luzerne County 9-1-1 facility 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Letters must be originals (no copies) and must contain an original signature.

·  Complaint forms are available at the Luzerne County 9-1-1 facility and on the WEB at www.luzernecounty911.com. When completing the Departmental Complaint Form, be sure to include all available information. Submit the original, with an original signature to the address below.  Copies will not be accepted.  It is suggested a copy be made for your own records.

·      Any complaint of employee misconduct, including sexual harassment and sexual misconduct, may be reported directly to the 9-1-1 Director or to the Luzerne County Manager.

·      The 911 Director may be contacted by calling (570) 826-3059 during normal business hours, Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM.

·      During holidays and non-business hours, please leave a message including your name, address and phone number, and you will receive a return call the next business day or call the 9-1-1 Supervisors desk at (570) 819-4923.
